What is the difference between St Tropez and Caramel (since the color difference is difficult to capture in photos)?-
St Tropez is a neutral tone beige
Caramel is a warmer olive toned beige
Why is ivory on sale?
Quality is our top priority. The ivory wool we acquired for this run of Charles shorts, is incredibly luscious and soft, it is left over from luxury brand The Row. That is to say the fabric is extremely high quality. However, it is less opaque than we expected when sewn. They are not more see through than many designer shorts on the market but since they are more see through than our standard we have decided to mark them on sale. We suggest wearing them with undergarments that match your skin tone.
How do I wash the shorts?
We do suggest dry cleaning them since they are 100% wool which may shrink or change texture if washed improperly at home. You may wash them at home if you proper wool washing detergent and tools. We do not take responsibility if you attempt to wash them at home yourself and the material is damaged.
Where are they made?
All of our designs are made entirely in New York City by expert craftsmen in an ethical environment and who are generously compensated for their skillset and labor.
The majority of the fabric we use is dead stock which refers to left over material from other brand's production which we then purchase from them. This is why we often cannot restock colors. The wool we use was originally made in Italy and our buttons are made in the UK.
Will colors be restocked when sold out?
We often cannot guarantee a restock since our fabric has only a set amount available due to the nature of dead stock. However, we always suggest signing up for the waitlist incase it does come back.
What size should I order?
The shorts are true to size. We suggest ordering according to your waist measurement using the below size chart. If you are in between sizes we recommend sizing up. Model has a 23 in waist, 0-2 US dress size, 5ft 6in tall, and is wearing an XS
Do the shorts have pockets?
These shorts do not have pockets because weight on the fabric would ruin the shape.
